Moodymann, DJ Stingray 313, Gerd Janson, HAAi, Young arco, Dan Shake and more head to the forests of Góis from 18–20 September 2026.

A new boutique festival is preparing to make its debut in Portugal this September. Set beside the Rio Ceira in the forests of Góis, Chronosphere Festival will bring together electronic music, art, nature and wellbeing for three days shaped around one central idea: Past, Present and Beyond.

Taking place from 18–20 September 2026, the festival will welcome just 2,500 guests, creating an intentionally intimate and walkable experience centred around one carefully curated stage, a riverside setting and a programme of arts and wellness activities.

A journey through three eras

Chronosphere is conceived as more than a traditional music festival. Its concept follows a journey through three connected eras:

  • Past represents roots, fire and earth: where the music came from.

  • Present is shaped by water, nature and the Rio Ceira running through the site.

  • Beyond looks towards light, transformation and the future of electronic sound.

The festival unfolds across both banks of the river, connected by a bridge that becomes part of the journey. Alongside the music, guests will find a river beach, creative experiences, wellness activities and dedicated spaces for rest, regulation and connection.

Chronosphere Festival 2026 full lineup

The debut edition brings together an eclectic selection of international names and emerging talent spanning house, techno, electro, indie dance and downtempo.

The full lineup features:

Adriana Ruas, Alfonsvs, Bambounou, Cuba, Dan Shake, David Triana, DJ Stingray 313, Elkka, Gerd Janson, HAAi, Isaac Carter, ISAbella, Jonny Rock, Mâhfoud, Marie Montexier, Megatronic, Moodymann, Moses, Nicolas Lutz, OK Williams, Rakim Under, Shubostar, sim0ne, Speaking Minds, Tiago Oudman, Toni Aparisi, Tristan da Cunha, Yen Sung, Yonti and Young Marco.

From the deep Detroit heritage of Moodymann and the uncompromising electro futurism of DJ Stingray 313 to Gerd Janson’s euphoric selections, HAAi’s genre-defying energy and the eclectic sounds of Young Marco, the programme connects different generations and corners of electronic music.

Elsewhere, Dan Shake, Bambounou, Elkka, OK Williams, Marie Montexier, Nicolas Lutz, ISAbella and many more complete a lineup designed for discovery as much as headline moments.

With only one stage, guests will be able to follow the full musical journey without choosing between competing performances. The daily programme and set times will be revealed closer to the festival.

Designed for neurodivergent minds, open to everyone

One of Chronosphere’s defining commitments is its approach to accessibility. Rather than treating inclusion as an addition, the festival says neurodiversity has informed its planning from the beginning.

Measures will include dedicated quiet and regulation areas, Safety Angels throughout the site, low-stimulus spaces, noise-controlling headphones and reserved areas near the stage for guests who need more room and easier access.

A dedicated area close to the stage will also support deaf and hard-of-hearing guests, offering clear sightlines and space to experience the music through vibration. Portuguese Sign Language volunteers will also be present throughout the festival.

These measures are supported by partnerships with the Peter Koijen Foundation and the Associação Portuguesa Voz do Autista, helping ensure that the festival is developed with neurodivergent people rather than simply for them.

Music, camping and nature in central Portugal

Chronosphere takes place at Parque de Lazer do Baião in Góis, approximately one hour from Coimbra. Its riverside setting is central to the experience, with guests able to swim and cool down in the shallow waters of the Rio Ceira between sets.

Camping is included with every weekend pass. The campsite opens at 14:00 on Thursday 17 September, giving weekend ticket holders time to settle in before the festival site officially opens at 09:00 on Friday 18 September.

Music begins from midday, with performances continuing into the early hours across all three days.

Guests can bring their own tent or upgrade to pre-pitched camping and glamping options.

A public campervan parking area managed by Góis City Hall is located approximately three minutes’ walk from the festival grounds.

Festival guests may use the facility, but it is a municipal public space and is not operated or provided by Chronosphere Festival.

Travelling to Chronosphere

For international visitors, Porto is the closest major airport, while Lisbon offers a wider selection of international routes.

Both cities provide train and coach connections to Coimbra, followed by a final journey to Góis. From Coimbra, visitors can continue by regional bus or taxi. Festival shuttle information is expected to be announced closer to September.

Guests travelling by public transport should check the latest schedules before departure, particularly as weekend services between Coimbra and Góis may be limited.

Sustainability rooted in the territory

Chronosphere’s approach is closely connected to Góis, the Serra do Açor and the Rio Ceira.

Its environmental commitments include reuse-focused bar and vendor systems, waste planning from the design stage and a promise to plant one tree for every festival ticket sold.

The organisers describe Chronosphere as a festival designed to support and promote its surroundings rather than simply use them—a commitment that feels particularly relevant for a new gathering taking place in one of central Portugal’s most striking natural environments.

Its deliberately limited capacity also supports that vision, keeping the festival intimate while reducing its impact on the surrounding landscape.

Chronosphere Festival tickets

Weekend passes include entry across all three days and on-site camping.

Only the final 50 Early Bird Weekend Passes remain, priced at €90. Once they sell out, tickets will move to the First Release price of €110, making now the best time to secure a weekend pass.

  • First Release Weekend Pass: €110
