White Claw and Defected Records are bringing 10 strangers together in Ibiza to discover whether a shared love of house music can create lasting friendships.

Can house music turn complete strangers into lifelong friends?

White Claw and Defected Records are putting that question to the test with Find Your People, a new social experiment offering 10 house music lovers the opportunity to share an unforgettable 24-hour experience in Ibiza.

Applications are now open to UK residents aged 25 and over—but there is not long left to enter, as the deadline is 13 August 2026.

Connecting People Through House Music

The initiative arrives amid what White Claw describes as the UK’s “friendship recession,” with more adults reporting that they have no close friends and fewer people maintaining large friendship groups.

Through Find Your People, White Claw and Defected want to explore whether music, dancing and a shared passion for Ibiza culture can help create genuine connections between people who have never previously met.

The 10 successful applicants will be matched through the community app Cliq before travelling together to Ibiza for 24 hours.

The project forms part of White Claw’s wider mission to help create 50,000 new friendships this summer, using shared interests and real-world experiences to bring people together.

What Does the Ibiza Experience Include?

The selected participants will be flown to Ibiza for an exclusive 24-hour experience during the first week of September.

The trip will include a private White Claw x Defected villa takeover, soundtracked by DJAMMIN b2b Joëlla Jackson.

DJAMMIN is part of the Defected and Más Tiempo family, while Joëlla Jackson is one of the emerging names gaining attention within the new generation of house music talent.

Following the villa takeover, the group will continue the experience at Defected at Chinois Ibiza, joining one of the island’s best-known house music parties.

Throughout the trip, the participants’ experiences and developing friendships will be documented to discover whether the connections created through house music can continue beyond the dancefloor.

How to Apply

Applications are open to UK residents aged 25 or over.

To enter, applicants must first join Cliq and then upload a short video answering three questions:

  • Why do you want to Find Your People in Ibiza?

  • What does house music mean to you?

  • What would your ideal 24 hours in Ibiza look like?

Organisers are looking for people who genuinely love house music and Ibiza culture and who are comfortable documenting and sharing their experience as part of the social experiment.

Important Dates and Eligibility

Applications close on 13 August 2026.

Successful participants are expected to be notified by 20 August and must be available to travel during the first week of September 2026.

Applicants must:

  • Be a UK resident

  • Be aged 25 or over

  • Be available during the first week of September

  • Join Cliq and complete the video application

  • Be willing to document and share their experience

Terms and conditions apply.

Your Ibiza Story Could Start Here

For generations of clubbers, Ibiza has represented much more than music. The island has created friendships, communities and memories that continue long after the final track.

Find Your People is now giving 10 strangers the opportunity to experience that connection for themselves—and potentially return home with much more than memories from another night out.

Applications close on 13 August 2026.

Would you travel to Ibiza with nine complete strangers connected only by a shared love of house music?
